Questions.

We at Cannabis Analytic require your samples prepared as they would be sent to a dispensary and sold to a patient. For products that require specific storage conditions, such as frozen items (e.g., medicated ice cream), please ensure this information is noted on the Chain of Custody (CoC) form when requesting testing. Additionally, samples should be appropriately prepared for pickup or delivery based on their storage needs, whether they require freezing, refrigeration, or room temperature storage. Starting November 1, 2020, it is mandatory for all samples to be packaged for testing in the same manner they will be sold to patients. We will then schedule pickup for your products and once delivered to the lab, we will inform you the timeframe of completion.
At Cannabis Analytic, we ask that you submit the final product as it will be sold to patients. It is also helpful for you to identify the oil according to state compliance standards. Why is it necessary to send the final product, such as a cartridge or pen? Most state requirements outlined by the Department of Health Services mandate all final products be tested, rather than just the oil they contain, as the oil may be used in various products sold to patients.

Currently, most local lab facilities test for these nine cannabinoids: Δ9-THC, Δ9-THCA, CBD, CBDA, CBN, THCV, CBG, CBGA, and Δ8-THC (more cannabinoid testing availability dependent on lab).


Turnaround time is dependent on the amount of products being tested, but typically Cannabis Analytic can work with labs to complete your testing in 1.5-2 weeks.
